- Keep connected to Jesus no matter what! There's no way I can give out what I don't have. If I don't stay connected to Jesus, and I mean desperately connected I'm no good to anyone else.
- Don't neglect Gayle in the process. Next to Jesus, my wife means everything to me. And even though I can be one of those overly-focused males who loses sight of everything around him except what he's currently working on (I'm sure most of you are absolutely shocked right now!), I refuse to sacrifice my relationship with Gayle for the ministry.
- I am so pumped to see the finished postcard we'll be mailing out to the community in Feb and March. Dan Brindley has been working his tail off getting this card ready. I can hardly wait to show it to the group. It will be done by the end of the week and then off to the printer.
- I sure hope the Wentzville side of the Jubilee website is up and going by the time our first mailer goes out. We're doing all we can to get it done by this date and so far so good.
- I am so grateful for the team God has joined Gayle and I with. So many people are carrying responsibility for getting things ready for the first Preview. I'm humbled by your willingness to serve and your desire to see Jesus' name be made famous.
Thoughts With Less Than Two Months To Go
With our first Preview Service less than two months away here's what's on my mind.
So You Know What Makes You Happpy? Think Again.
This is a fascinating article on a study that was done that examines why people continue to make bad decisions about what makes them happy. I was really struck by point #3. Here's the link.
Good Questions To Start The New Year
Dave Ferguson recently posted about questions he asks himself before he begins each new year. Looking ahead is always great, but it's most valuable in light of where we've recently been. Here's the link.
